Heavenly Bodies

The origin of this song bears some explanation. Remember that old tune by the Bellamy Brothers called, "If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body, Would You Hold It Against Me"? Well, that's kind of what I was going for here. "Heavenly Bodies" was meant to be a pun-based novelty country tune, and I didn't think much more about it. However, as I continued to write more Christian material, this song's blatant prurience eventually made me uncomfortable ... so I reworked the tune a little, changed the lyrics, and it became "I See Jesus in the Sky."
